Craig Newmark Philanthropies has awarded the institute $140,000 to support its Cyber Test Range, which is designed to detect hidden cyber vulnerabilities in critical hardware.
Executive Director James Patton Rogers said the institute is grateful for the support, and that Craig's passion for cyber civil defence continues to inspire its work in cyber tool development and pioneering security research.
The Cyber Test Range is part of the work of the U.S. Semiconductor Research Hub, which is centred on improving the resilience of the global interconnected semiconductor supply chain network and infrastructure to mitigate future threats, especially cybersecurity threats.
